The Fairmont is the Banff hotel. Locals call it the Castle in the Rockies for a reason,it literally looks like it’s out of a storybook. Between the spa, the dining, and the views of the Bow Valley, it’s a total scene-stealer.
The Rimrock sits up on Sulphur Mountain, so the views are insane, and it has this “secluded but still luxe” vibe. Eden, their fine dining spot, is where you go if you’re celebrating something big. And bonus: it’s steps away from the hot springs and gondola.
Here’s the exciting part: the Rimrock is about to undergo a huge renovation, so it’s one to keep an eye on. The upgrades are going to take the hotel from classic luxury to next-level. If you’ve never stayed here before, I’d get in now before the refresh, you’ll want those before-and-after bragging rights.
